The programme gives an opportunity to youngsters with special needs to take part in broadcasting, and hence to see them grow.
"CIBS has given us a platform to tell the stories of Overseas Filipino Women here." --Producer Armaria Armaria produced the CIBS programme series The O. F. W. Today (The Overseas Filipino Women Today), which tells the stories of Filipino women in Hong Kong and features topics related to them. She hopes that the programme can bring comforts to the O. F. W.
" I enjoy doing broadcasting, I feel so happy" -- Auditory Verbal Therapist Clara Clara has become an auditory verbal therapist since her son suffers from severe congenital hearing loss. By producing the CIBS programme series Listen & Talk, she hopes to give children with hearing difficulties more opportunities to participate in broadcasting.

On 12 August, which is International Youth Day designated by the United Nations, CIBS held the "CIBS e.m.y.broadcaster Orientation Day". Four young people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds were welcomed to become a part of "CIBS e.m.y.broadcaster", which aims to let more people learn about the stories of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong and promote the platform of CIBS for them to produce radio programmes in their own languages. The four "CIBS e.m.y.broadcasters" are Limsiriwong Kan-kit (Kit) of Thai descent, Or Pui-ting (Fiona) with Indonesian ancestry, Menye Eto Junior (Eto) of African descent, and Hussain Maryam Bibi (Bibi) with Pakistani ancestry. They will be tasked to take part in CIBS promotional activities and to promote the message of "CIBS: We All Are Broadcasters" in the community. Apart from the debut performances of the "CIBS e.m.y.broadcasters," the event also invited friends from different ethnic backgrounds, including John Lauton, Lunar Antz, Aiswarya Rambhatla, Arpita Basak, Farabi Shaomin Dibyu, Kraemer Till and Sahal Zaman, the winner of the Best New Performer of the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards.
