APPLICATION for CIBS S51 & S52 will SOON BEGIN!
Community Involvement Broadcasting Service (CIBS) Seasons 51 and 52 will be open for application starting from 17 April 2025! You'll be the NEXT BROADCASTER!
To implement the CIBS, Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) devotes part of airtime to provide a platform for the community, non-governmental organisations and the underprivileged to participate in broadcasting, i.e. produce radio programmes. The CIBS seeks to promote a wider range of social gains. RTHK provides funding for application.
In this round of application (Round 26), two seasons of CIBS programmes will be selected. The ceiling of broadcasting hours in each season will be 17 hours. Applicants may submit proposals of one-hour or half-hour programmes. Applicants may choose from three programme themes in each season.

1. Chinese Culture
2. Ethnic Minorities
3. Open Topic
Broadcasting Date: 29 Dec 2025 to 29 Mar 2026
Programme Themes of the 52nd Season:
1. Science and Technology
2. Ethnic Minorities
3. Open Topic
Broadcasting Date: 30 Mar 2026 to 28 Jun 2026
The Application Form will be provided on the CIBS website in the section "Be a Broadcaster" on 18 October 2024. For details, including the Eligibility Criteria, Selection and Funding Criteria, please refer to the CIBS Handbook. Application Deadline: 29 May 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
